BLACK FOREST CAKE


Ingredients:
Cake:80 gms plain flour, 20 gms cocoa powder, 100 gms sugar, 1/4 tsp baking powder, 5ml vanilla
essense, 5ml chocolate essense, few drops chocolate colour, 30ml oil/melted butter, 1/2 sheet butter paper.
Icing: 500 gms fresh cream, 100 gms icing sugar, 12-14 cherries, 1/2 bar cooking chocolate, few drops of rum.

Method:
Cake:Line a 7 inch round cake tin with butter paper. Sieve the plain flour, cocoa and baking powder. Add chocolate colour and essense. Fold in the flour alternatively with refined oil and pour this mixture into the prepared cake tin. Bake in in the preheated baking oven at 190 degree for 15-18 minutes on position.
Icing and decoration :Slice the cake into 2 layers. Whip the cream with the sugar. Apply cream on the base and decorate it with icing sugar with some cherry.Chill the cake for 20-25 minutes.
